Stand up straight. Support yourself with a cane or wall.

Take your foot with heel leading to the side as many times as you can in 30 seconds.

Repeat 3 x 30 seconds.

Stand up straight.

Walk on your heels for 3 x 30 seconds. Leave a 30 second break between sets.

Sit on a chair with the soles of your feet on the floor. Place your feet together.

Stand up without using your hands.

Stand up straight then sit back down.

Stand up straight.

Alternatively straighten your legs in front of you with your ankle bent and heel touching the floor. Bend the knee of the supporting leg, bringing your arms forward at the same time. The more you bend your supporting leg, the more efficient the movement will be.
